Audi R8

AUDI R8 Reviews

Audi R8 was first launched in the year 2006 at the Paris Auto Show. The name of the car tends to confuse a lot of people, as it is shared with the R8 LMP, which won the Le Mans race, among others. It was initially believed that the car would be called the R9, but this was not the case, ultimately.

Audi R8 is available with the same exact Configuration used in the Audi RS4, a 4.2 L V8 developing 420 hp. The 420 bhp model is available for 77,000 pounds or 104,400 euros. In the United States of America, a six speed manual version of the car is available for $109,000.

AUDI A6 2.7 QUATTRO REVIEWS SPECIFICATIONS

Audi A6 2.7 Quattro

AUDI  A6 2.7 QUATTRO Reviews

The Audi A6 2.7 TDI is a luxury sedan par excellence, as are all A6. These cars were designed to appeal to the upper end of the market. Not as aristocratic as the pompous Rolls or Bentley (or as in-your-face flashy), the Audi A6 2.7 TDI more of a CEO than a duke. The Audi A6 2.7 TDI is one of six A6S on offer, and is the largest of the diesel generators. But that does not mean that the 2.7-liter TDI turbo diesel engine is worse than the petrol offerings. On the contrary. So what are the Audi A6 2.7 TDI has arrived at the tastefully tailored lines of the bonnet? Yes, it is a turbo-diesel. Yes, there is a 2.7-liter engine.

The Audi A6 2.7 TDI has to offer an excellent selection of features to enjoy inside and outside for the driver and passengers – and to keep things exactly as smooth and easy like the looks of the sedan. The Audi A6 2.7 TDI rear acoustic parking aid, electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, automatic halogen headlights that look powerful in a subtle way, if from the outside, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable viewed leather trimmed seats with lumbar support, a leather-wrapped four-spoke multifunction steering wheel and the “coming home” lights.

AUDI A3 1.8 TURBO REVIEWS SPECIFICATIONS

Audi A3 1.8 Turbo

AUDI A3 1.8 TURBO Reviews

This was the first Volkswagen Group model to use the "PQ34" or "A4" platform, bearing a natural close resemblance to its contemporary, the Volkswagen Golf Mk4. The car was initially available only with a three-door hatchback body, in order to present a more sporty image than the Golf, in both front- and four-wheel drive. All engines were an inline four-cylinder configuration, and were transversely mounted. After the A4, the Audi A3 was the second model in the Audi lineup to use five valves per cylinder.

AUDI A6 2.8 REVIEWS SPECIFICATIONS

Audi A6 2.8

AUDI A6 2.8 Reviews

Audi A6 was a great first car. It's a smooth, quiet ride. I got it used at 169,000 miles and it smoked sometimes after reaching it's destination. Also the car had problems with leaking oil. Mechanics commented that it looks like a tsunami down there! Both problems did not seem to effect the car from getting around. The oil problems do seem to be a common issue with the A6 though because after this audi was beat up by a deer, I looked into another audi A6 but its oil problems were even worse than the first.

This is a big German sedan but it's lighting package and sharp lines make it a handsome machine that is close in looks to the A8. Audi says its got aluminium a-plenty within the new sedan's construction, which 4915mm in length (a little shorter than the outgoing car), with a 2912mm wheelbase (69mm longer), 1874mm wide and 1455mm tall - a few millimetres shorter and lower.

The cabin is functional and comfortable, with the broad, sweeping dashboard a busy but decipherable for the driver. The luggage space is 530 litres, which also has the benefit of folding rear seat back rests to boost space to 995 litres.

AUDI A4 1.8 TURBO FSI REVIEWS SPECIFICATIONS

Audio A4 1.8 Turbo

AUDI A4 1.8 TURBO FSI Reviews

2000 and earlier 1.8Ts have forged pistons and 2001&up use cast. In stock form, 91 octane fuel should suffice. Those are odd octane numbers you mention, where are you located? My APR "91 octane" software is 1 bar (14.7PSI), which is higher than even a 2003 1.8T which is probably around 0.7 bar (10-11PSI). K03 turbochargers are small and really don't need a bigger (or front mount) intercooler and the pressure drop would probably cancel out any gains you got from cooling. A water sprayer should add a slight gain, since the cooler the intake charge, the better.

AUDI A4 2.0 TDi REVIEWS SPECIFICAYIONS

Audi A4 2.0

AUDI A4 2.0 TDi Reviews

Audi expects this variant to be the biggest seller in the range. The longitudinally mounted direct-injection diesel produces 141bhp – up 3bhp on the old car – while torque is unchanged at 320Nm. And the unit is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Steering is accurate and fluid, while the supple suspension does a fine job of absorbing bumps and imperfections. For owners who want a more focused driving experience, the A4 is also available with the optional Drive Select system. This allows you to optimise the power-steering assistance, sharpen throttle response and adjust the dampers to suit your tastes. Yet even without it, the six-speed gearbox offers a solid action, and while the A4 still lacks the driver involvement of the 3-Series, it’s more capable than its predecessor.

Deliveries of the A4 won’t begin until next March, but the new car is available to order at dealerships now. This 2.0 TDI SE is competitively priced and comes generously equipped, too. As ever, there is an extensive options list available, while a more powerful diesel version with around 170bhp will go on sale later next year.

AUDI R8 SPYDER V10 STREPTONIC REVIEWS SPECIFICATIONS

Audi R8 Spyder V10

AUDI R8 SPYDER V10 STREPTONIC Reviews

R8 Spyder is not just a cabrio, it is a teasingly beautiful open-top sports car of the top class, a real dream car – in particular ABT Sportsline’s version. Their designers have contoured the lines of the open-top model athlete, and using the ABT R8 Spyder has redefined the word “roadster” with Bavarian thoroughness: the result is a vehicle whose power can be seen even when it is at a standstill.

The V10 with 5.2 litre cubic capacity is used in the ABT R8 Spyder: this provides 600 well-trained horses (441 kW) – while in the series version there are 525HP (386 kW). The Spyder is able to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds and achieves a top speed of 320 km/h. The roadster is therefore a hurricane for the road, giving lovers of fresh-air a new “tangible” term. Suspension springs from ABT provide even better handling, which in particular has a positive effect in the threshold regions of the Spyder.
