BMW 760Li

BMW 760Li Reviews

The 760Li is the new addition in the BMW 7-series with stretched wheelbase 760Li. This new luxury limousine has the direct injected TwinPower Turbo V12 powers the BMW 760Li which gives 553 lb-ft torque and 544 HP. This huge power is used in the eight-speed automatic transmission. There are other features for comfort like the Dynamic Drive Control system with Dynamic Damping Control which can be operated by a button on the central console.

The 760Li, which shares its basic engine technology with the soon-to-materialise Rolls-Royce Ghost, provides one of the more luxurious and quickest ways to complete any road journey. The first of those can start as the owner drives it from BMW Welt on the route out of Munich and on to an autobahn of their choice for a long, loping, relaxed trip home.
The BMW stands for can be found in this luxury car," said Wolfgang Stadler, managing director of the Dingolfing plant where it is built. And it probably can, including surprisingly good handling considering the car's weight and size (its wheelbase is 5.5in longer than that of a regular 7-series and overall length is 16ft 8in). Dynamic Damping with manual selection gives a choice of comfort, normal or sportyish road reactions and the big saloon felt relatively compact on winding German rural roads. Wheels are 19 inches in diameter.

BMW 745Li Reviews

The long-rumored restyle of the car's controversial lines still had not arrived (BMW unveiled the mid-cycle restyle as a 2006 model), despite rumors dating back to 2003. Additional feature content was added for '05, with the obstacle-detection system standardized on V-8 models, and steering-linked adaptive headlights made standard as well. With this new equipment came a price hike of $600 for V-8 models and $100 for the V-12's, but the value of the extra features more than balanced the increased cost. New options appeared as well. Comfort Access provided automatic keyless entry and start functions.

Unlike a conventional remote keyless entry system, where a button pressed on the keyfob unlocked the doors, this system automatically unlocked the doors whenever the keyfob was brought within a certain distance from the vehicle. Even better, it allowed the driver to start the car just by pressing the engine start button, without ever removing the key from a pocket or purse. The other addition was the Rear Entertainment Package, which combined a fold-out 6.5" monitor on the rear of the center console, headphone jacks and controls in the rear center armrest, and a separate 6-disc CD/DVD changer mounted in the side of the trunk. Available on all models for $2,200, it made the time pass a lot faster for rear-seat occupants.

BMW X6 Reviews

BMW consists of 5 different variants, namely: X6 xDrive 35i, X6 xDrive 50i, X6 xDrive 30d, X6 xDrive 40d and Active Hybrid X6. In variants, X6 XDrive 50i  there is merger at first time between High Precision Injection and TwinPower Turbo Technology on this V8 engine. 4.4 liters engine capacity is capable of generating power up to 407 hp and 600 Nm of torque or rpm between 1750-4500 rpm. With fuel consumption of an average of 8 km/liter, making it the most efficient car in its class.
BMW X6 is, but after driving it, they’ve decided that they don’t care, and call it one of the best-handling, most fun-to-drive SUVs on the market. However, the auto press emphasizes that those looking for practicality or value should look elsewhere. “We set out to determine what the BMW X6 is, and this is our answer: BMW X6 a fully capable, beautifully finished, and superbly comfortable four-place sports car with a trunk big enough for almost any adventure and the ability to tow up to three tons of what won’t fit inside.

BMW X6 really enliven the auto industry, enriches variant also seized a car automotive lovers attention. This product is one of the most beautiful works in the automotive industry, design features and advantages attracted many compliments.
BMW X6 is a vehicle reviewers love, but consumers may have a hard time justifying a $60,000 purchase. Though its base trim costs $11,700 more than the BMW X5, it has less cargo space and can seat only four (a fifth seat was added as a $350 option this year). The BMW X6’s suspension is tuned tightly to make it sporty, but some reviewers say that makes it uncomfortable as a daily driver. The ActiveHybrid X6 adds $30,000 to the base price and makes 100 more horsepower than the base BMW X6, but it gets worse fuel economy than the base model. And the BMW X6’s 2.5-ton curb weight cuts down on any fuel economy that could have resulted from the turbocharged, direct-injected six-cylinder engine.

BMW 520i generating 135kW/270Nm with official fuel use of just 6.4 liters/100km, thanks to stop-start technology and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming and a seven-inch screen for the satnav system. Spend another $20,300 and the same 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder has been overclocked in the BMW 528i to produce 180kW/350Nm while using just 0.3 liters/100km more fuel.

An eight-second 0-100km/h time is respectable but doesn't do the 520i justice.  It is a better performer than the number suggests. There's a moment where the engine spools up to overcome momentum but maximum torque is available from 1250rpm and at that point no-one will pick this is a 2.0-litre.

BMW 530i Reviews

Four years since BMW's current 5-Series made its first appearance on the Australian stage. But while the passing of time has brought stronger, fresher rivals it remains the standout choice for luxury buyers, outgunning all to take the bestselling gong in its segment last year. Now we have a new, revised 5-Series to ponder, but don't go looking for major visual clues.

BMW 530i's majestic 3.0-litre straight six now pumps out more power, jumping 10 kW to 200 kW. The six-speed automatic has been extensively revised and picks up the trick electronic shifter first seen in the new X5. The result is even stronger performance. There are no holes to be found in the 3.0-litre six's power delivery, just a single, linear sweep that grows stronger in proportion to the revs used.
While ultra-keen drivers might prefer a manual gearbox, the mandatory six-speed auto isn't a ticket to Boredom County. Shifts are smooth, swift and it's not easily confused. The new joystick shifter, though, feels a bit plastic when shifting manually.
One obvious improvement over early Fives is ride quality, with our test car doing a decent, if not amazing, job of soaking up the kind of low-speed urban bumps that made their presence felt in the old car.
