The 2004 Audi A4 underwent some massive changes in terms of suspension geometry and technological components. The new A4 sedan also benefited from Audi's new Fuel Stratification Injection (FSI) Technology on its 2.0L petrol and 3.2L V6 gasoline engines, both receiving an impressive power boost and improved fuel consumption. Audi's 'quattro' permanent all-wheel-drive system was optional for most Audi A4 models and it came with a standard Tiptronic transmission. The Audi A4 also featured plenty of active safety components and won the 'Top Safety Pick For 2007' award from the North-American Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
