BMW 5 20i Reviews

One unusual fact about the Singapore car market last year is that its most popular model was a premium, mid-sized sedan from Germany called the BMW 5 Series. Equally unusual is that this car is available with a relatively small 2.0-litre engine.
BMW dealerships in the form of an entry level 5 Series that matches the 520d diesel model in performance and undercuts it on price by enough to offset the differences in fuel consumption.

Bottom line is $77,900 for a BMW 520i generating 135kW/270Nm with official fuel use of just 6.4 litres/100km, thanks to stop-start technology and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
528i also uses the same inline four-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine but it is tuned for higher output and torque of 245bhp and 350Nm respectively.
4.9 metres in overall length and a kerb weight of 1,685kg, the 520i is not your average compact sedan. The cabin is roomy with good space for five adults and there is a deep boot behind. And the equipment level of this luxury saloon is high, with standard items such as GPS navigation and an electrically operated boot lid.
